I have been looking forward to this maternity session for years, and I know the parents have too. Lauren & Brian are so incredibly excited for the arrival of their twins later this summer. I regret not getting a picture of Brian's emergency baby supplies backpack...that boy is ready to be a father. After a session inside their home, we went to a local park to capture some incredible images that show their relationship perfectly. I can't wait for Baby A & Baby B to make their debut!

I love all the photographs. Doug, you are quite the artist. My favorite is the basketball tongue-in-cheek snap. I recognize many of the backdrops. Lauren you look so natural and Brian, you look like a patient, supportive dad to be. Do you carry the twins in a sling? How are those toes? Have you seen them in awhile? love you

Wet & Wild Part 2 : Choptank

My buddy Kyle took me out again on his boat...this time on the beautiful Choptank in Cambridge, MD. We were joined by Kyle's cousin, Erik, and his fiance, Meredith. It was quite a show (of skin!). Had a great time and got a few good shots along the way.

This little man is very special to me. Jack Carl Snyder was born just over a week ago and is weighing in around a whopping 5lbs. His parents, Jessica & Keith, are so proud and excited. They let me tear up their house while I was taking pictures, and even treated me to a Philly classic, a cheesesteak. Yum! Can't wait to watch this little guy grow up.

The Left Coast : California

Last weekend I took a quick trip out to Cali to hook up with one of my best friends for a little "man-cation" as Mike called it. Mike & Gracie, who live in Santa Monica, were great hosts as usual. I ate some incredible food, had quite a few laughs, and took a few shots along the way. I did a few time-lapse shots as well along the coast...from LAX (watch for the planes over the beach) to the northern tip of Malibu. I've been getting some questions about how I select which song(s) I use for the time-lapse stuff. Well, LA is both a beautiful and dirty town. So, I chose a song from one of my favorite California bands, "Oil & Water" from Incubus. I think it fits the mood well. Enjoy!

Although each sunrise has its moments, this one had few. A cloud raced in to cover the sun just as it peeked over the horizon. Dang. Oh well, here's a few that I salvaged from this morning.
